Dr. Sharma attended Eastern Virginia Medical School to obtain his Medical degree and then completed his Residency at the University at Buffalo Medical (UBMD). Dr. Sharma started Lakeshore Eyecare in 2006, beginning at the Irving, NY location. Dr. Sharma has been a pioneer in introducing the South Towns to novel procedures such as LASIK, Premium lens implants, and laser–assisted eyelid surgery. Dr. Sharma also holds the distinction of being a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. When he is not seeing patients or in the Operating room, Dr. Sharma enjoys traveling the world with his family and spending time with his dog!
